If you have another folder then keep opening them until you reach some photos. Once inside of your first folder you should see some PNG files. In the case of Super Smash Bros Rebirth, the folder I am looking for is called "backdrop"Ĥ. Open your mod's GFX folder, and open the first folder that you see. So always use the vanilla animations.b file!ģ. This file will not work on the vita it will automatically cause your game to crash.

Once you extract your mods to your work area the first thing you will want to do is delete it's "animations.b" file if it has one.

I recommend making a dedicated folder if you plan on doing multiple mods.Ģ.

Once you find and download your mod extract it to a folder on its own. You're ready to start porting your first mod!įor the sake of this tutorial I shall be using Super Smash Bros Rebirth. (Please don't run this until you are ready since it will delete any png and batch file in the same directory as it including itself). A special batch file that I made for you that will expedite this process tremendously. It's best to imagine both as two sides of the same coin that you can enjoy independent of one another.Over the last week I have managed to get some of the most popular PC mods for The Binding Of Isaac working on our very own PSVita. I will say that Antibirth actually has more content and changes the game more spectacularly than Afterbirth+, and is certainly worth playing in its' own right - however, I do feel Afterbirth+ has added things that thematically make sense, as in it fits into the lore of the game, whereas Antibirth (with things like mine levels, which really don't fit the game) does not do as well. One minor note - to compare this game to the fan-made expansion Antibirth.

It's worth the money, and it's a fitting send-off for a fantastic game. All that said, Afterbirth+ will not change your mind if you were not a fan of the games before it, but you will love it if you are an existing fan - which given this is an expansion is just fine. Due to not reading spoilers (and I'm doing my very best not to give any away here), reaching the culmination of the game for the first time was an experience to remember - one of the most creative and shocking encounters I've yet witnessed in a video game. However, the further you go down the rabbit hole, the crazier things become, with new enemy patterns to learn, new items to work out and a whole new character with a very unique active item to master. Initially, it doesn't seem like much has changed, with the lower floors feeling like a minor expansion rather than anything meaningful. Afterbirth+ manages to thematically build on the outstanding foundations laid for it by Rebirth and Afterbirth, with spellbinding and Afterbirth+ manages to thematically build on the outstanding foundations laid for it by Rebirth and Afterbirth, with spellbinding and horrifying new features dragging us back into the basement for hundreds of hours more.
